The Glen Hotel, Arranmore Island, Co. Donegal
The Glen Hotel has been part of the Arranmore history since being built in the mid 1800s. It was originally the home of the landlord John Stoupe Charley and was known as ‘the big house’. The National Geographic Explorer Visits Arranmore Island
We were delighted to have been host to the 1st organised Cruise Ship landing at Arranmore Island. The National Geographic Explorer graced our waters at 4.00pm on the 15th May afternoon, where we, along with our community, welcomed over 200 crew and passengers to our shore. Everyone onboard had a wonderful time on Arranmore and couldn’t praise the hospitality they received enough.
