Blue Arranmore Ferry
We’re delighted to introduce our newest vessel, the Arranmore Blu, the latest addition to the Blue Ferry Arranmore fleet. The Arranmore Blu completed its maiden voyage on June 1st 2025 and began operating a full-time schedule from June 5th 2025, already making a strong impression. Designed for a smoother and more comfortable crossing, the Arranmore Blu is larger, more stable, and can accommodate more cars, making travel to and from Arranmore Island easier and more relaxing than ever. For those early morning crossings or late returns, there's even a coffee machine on board. Because we know it's the little things that make a big difference
Things you should know about the Blue Arranmore Ferry:

The journey time to and from Arranmore Island is ~15 minutes

The Arranmore Ferry is a car and passenger ferry, we also allow pets to travel too!

The Arranmore Ferry can also carry larger vehicles including trucks, lorries and bigger machines.

Ferry departs from Burtonport Pier all year round (subject to weather)

This service is registered with the Department of Marine and Fáilte Ireland

There are on-board toilet facilities
